Welcome to our new member!

Hi to all.
I just wanted to write a little note to welcome our new member. She is not only a young artist but is such a creative girl!
Katie makes her own clothes, has developed several techniques in fibre and has so much interest in learning everything! I am sure not only she will paint and sketch great things, but also in tapestry we will do great stuff!

On behalf of the Painting Studio I give you the most warm welcome, hoping you find here with us a place where you can keep increasing you abilities in art!
See you soon Katie!

Landscapes with music...

Hi, me again. This time I want to share this image of a landscape made by Luca.

He is not only a young student of the Painting Studio, but also a musician. He plays the violin, so what can I say. All the precious ARTS involved in one person.

Thank you Luca for your patience during this project. You are very a talented boy and had a lot of concentration for accomplishing this exercise.
Keep Up LUCA! See you on Monday. I hope you had a great March Break and ready to do more fascinating projects!.

Another landscape to share

Hi. Here we are celebrating Paula's new landscape. The colours of the fall just amazed us. Her interest in the impressionism took us to try out this landscape from Algonquin.

For now she will be in another scheme of things. she wants to try out an informal approach into abstract. New textures, different effects with sponge, cardboard and direct paint spread around. Keep in touch and enjoy what we are now doing.
Congratulations Paula. Keep up!

Good luck to our participants!

Oakville has recently posted a New category for the Stars Among Us Award 2010.
In the categories of Young Artist Award, 2 of our students, Paula Neira and Victoria Sibileau have entered to represent the talents in visual arts in the Town of Oakville.

I would like to wish them both GOOD LUCK in this challenge. They are both talented girls that have so much potential. Keep up and enjoy painting.
